Sprayground, the world’s most popular travel fashion brand, has teamed up with the foundation of America’s most iconic architect, Frank Lloyd Wright, for a collaboration that is literally built different. This limited-edition collection features a diverse range of backpacks in both classic and never-before-seen shapes, alongside two architectural-inspired luggage pieces, promising to be the ultimate statement pieces for those who view the world as a work of art.
Staying true to Frank Lloyd Wright’s philosophy of organic architecture and
Sprayground’s disruptive spirit, the collaboration pushes the boundaries of what a
bag can be. The collection introduces bold, modular and highly dimensional
silhouettes that transform backpacks into sculptural forms - redefining traditional
expectations of shape, structure, and design. With layered construction and
architectural precision, the bags echo the principles behind Wright’s groundbreaking
buildings while bringing a new level of artistry and innovation to travel fashion.

The designs draw inspiration from Wright’s architecture, interiors, and furniture,
translating his iconic aesthetic into wearable pieces. The collection features a
sophisticated palette of blueprint blues, mid-century terracottas, and geometric
patterns that turn legendary floor plans into high-fashion canvases.
Several stand out pieces reimagine Wright’s design language in unexpected ways, including a backpack inspired by the spiralling form of the Guggenheim Museum, the Frank Lloyd Wright Blueprint 3D models with multi-dimensional shapes that mimic
architectural layering, and the Frank Lloyd Wright Chair Backpack, which pays
homage to Wright’s iconic furniture with a bold geometric frame. The collection also
includes two luggage designs that extend the architectural concept to travel gear,
alongside pieces incorporating reinterpretations of Wright’s stained glass patterns,
murals, and artistic motifs merged with Sprayground’s signature style.

Founder and Creative Director of Sprayground, David BenDavid, said: “I’ve always
been inspired by creators who change culture. Wright changed architecture forever,
and bringing that influence into Sprayground felt like the perfect way to celebrate
creativity and movement. With this collection, we’re not just designing bags - we’re
redefining what a backpack can be by introducing new structures, shapes, and
dimensions that push design forward.”

First seen on the runway during Sprayground’s London Fashion Week show in
September 2025, the collection immediately turned heads as Sprayground’s VP and Creative Director and independent artist, Sandflower closed the show wearing one of
the collection’s standout architectural pieces.

“Frank Lloyd Wright challenged conventions, with the desire to push engaging
design further and into new areas of our lives. That spirit is exactly what makes this
collaboration with Sprayground so much fun," says Sally Russell, Director of
Licensing for the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation. "They’ve taken Wright’s
architectural language—the geometry, the structure, the bold sense of form—and
turned it into something you can carry through an airport or down a city street. It’s
playful, a little unexpected, and a great way to introduce Wright’s ideas to a new
generation that might discover Organic Architecture through fashion first.”
