Sprayground x USPS: Where American Heritage Meets Streetwear in NYC
New York City has always been a city of movement — people, ideas, culture and, of course, mail. This fall, two iconic names are bringing that spirit together as Sprayground takes over the historic James A. Farley Post Office with its highly anticipated collaboration with the United States Postal Service.
From August 31 through October 3, 2026, the Sprayground x USPS pop-up is transforming one of New York City's most recognizable postal landmarks into an immersive destination for fashion, collectors and streetwear fans. Located at the James A. Farley Building at 421 8th Avenue, the experience brings together the heritage of USPS with Sprayground's unmistakable approach to design.

Where Postal History Meets Street Culture
Sprayground has built its reputation on taking everyday objects, familiar imagery and pop-culture references and turning them into bold, collectible pieces of wearable art. The USPS collaboration is a natural extension of that philosophy — taking one of America's most recognizable visual identities and giving it a distinctly Sprayground twist.
The nine-piece collection draws inspiration from classic USPS iconography, including Priority Mail packaging, postage stamps, blue collection boxes and the iconic USPS eagle. Familiar postal graphics are reimagined across Sprayground's signature backpack silhouettes, creating pieces that feel nostalgic while remaining unmistakably contemporary.
The result is a collection that sits at the intersection of American heritage, streetwear, travel and collectible design.

A Collection Designed to Make a Statement
At the center of the collaboration is a selection of statement-making backpacks featuring instantly recognizable USPS-inspired graphics.
Highlights include the USPS Half Stamps Backpack, USPS Mailbox Vandal Backpack, USPS Shark Stamp Backpack, USPS Shipping Box Backpack and USPS Stamp Stampede Backpack, alongside additional designs that merge Sprayground's signature visual language with classic postal motifs.
The collection goes beyond backpacks, introducing a USPS Shipping Box Duffle, designed to resemble the familiar packaging associated with the postal service, as well as Sprayground's first-ever collectible toy: a miniature USPS Mail Delivery Vehicle.
It's a collection built for more than simply carrying your belongings — these are pieces designed to be noticed.

Bringing the Collaboration to Life in New York
The location of the pop-up is just as important as the collection itself.
The James A. Farley Building is a landmark of New York City and a fitting setting for a collaboration rooted in the idea of travel, movement and communication. By bringing Sprayground into the historic post office, the brand is creating an experience that connects its New York roots with one of the city's most enduring institutions.
Rather than simply placing the collection inside a traditional retail environment, the pop-up gives visitors the opportunity to experience the collaboration in the heart of the very city that helped inspire Sprayground's identity.
For a brand known for turning retail spaces into cultural experiences, the setting becomes part of the story.

From the Bronx to the World
Founded in New York in 2010 by David BenDavid, Sprayground has grown from a disruptive backpack brand into a global creative lifestyle label spanning fashion, art, music, travel and pop culture.
The brand's New York DNA remains central to everything it does. From its early streetwear roots to its presence at New York, Milan and London Fashion Weeks, Sprayground has consistently challenged the idea of what a travel accessory can look like.
The USPS collaboration continues that evolution — taking something deeply familiar to New Yorkers and audiences around the world and turning it into something unexpected.
It is exactly the kind of collaboration that Sprayground has become known for: recognizable, unconventional and designed to spark conversation.

More Than a Pop-Up
The Sprayground x USPS experience forms part of a larger summer and fall takeover for the brand in New York City.
Following its collaboration with the New York Botanical Garden, Sprayground brought the USPS collection to the James A. Farley Building before taking its signature approach to Times Square for a two-day experience in September.
Across the three activations, Sprayground has created three very different environments — nature, American heritage and the energy of Times Square — while maintaining the same underlying philosophy: transform familiar places and ideas into unexpected cultural moments.
The USPS pop-up perhaps captures that philosophy best. A post office becomes a fashion destination. A shipping box becomes a duffle bag. A mail truck becomes a collectible. And the everyday act of sending something from one place to another becomes inspiration for a new generation of travel fashion.
