Sprayground, the world’s most influential streetwear brand known for its eccentric and highly coveted designs - has released its seventh series ‘African Intelligence’ (Ai 0.7), an ongoing collection co-designed by Independent Artist, Artist in Residence, and Sprayground’s VP and Creative Director of Content, Sandflower. The concept and name of this collection was directed by Sandflower based on her personal life experiences.
The Ai 0.7 collection delivers intricate beading, an eclectic print and a high dose of energy through bright and bold colors in the form of exquisite bags that act as a coded symbol of Afro-futuristic fashion. The concept features a new and fresh design that is included in all three new fashion forward items: a backpack, tote bag, and mini backpack.
The coveted collection features the standout design; an eye-catching star print that is crafted from beads and is embedded perfectly on each of the items in this capsule . The Ai collection has been known for, vibrant purples, reds and yellows that speak to the colorful inspirations of Afro-futuristic art and culture. The exquisitely crafted beaded design speaks to this as well and is beautifully cascading off of Sprayground's iconic collectible art piece - the shark mouth print on both backpacks.
Together with Sprayground founder, DBD, Sandflower has created tidal waves with the Ai collection since launching in 2019, this collection has proven to be highly sought after and moving fashion into the future, with notable celebrities wearing the bags, including Jarvis Landry and Alvin Kamara.
